Dr. Raul Villasuso, MD, F.A.C.S

Dr. Villasuso received his Doctorate from the University of Havana, Cuba. He completed his Internship and Residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. Dr. Villasuso has been in practice since 1975 and has been a partner with MIMIT since 2009. Dr Villasuso practices as both a General and Vascular Surgeon. He states he has a holistic approach to the delivery of surgical care. Not only does he treat the patient physically, he supports them emotionally.

By following these principles, Dr. Villasuso is one of the most respected and well liked surgeons in the Chicago area. In his free time, Dr. Villasuso enjoys traveling, reading and playing dominoes with friends.
